Chinese Scientist Edited Two Babies Genes Set in Jailed

Chinese government put the Chinese Scientist in imprisonment for three years  who helped the world’s first gene-edited babies.

 

It caused the global community shocked of the announcement last year made by He Jiankui who allegedly  redesign the genes of two babies to reduce the risk from HIV.

 

He is connected at the Southern University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen who is former associate professor and believed of his proud achievement research where on Monday the Shenzhen Nanshan District People’s Court made a decision to sentence him for three years and 3 million yuan fine.

 

Gene-editing for pregnancy is illegal and banned for most of the countries because it can caused the babies and other future generations genes in complications.

 

He and his team who are connected with the gene-editing of babies will suffer appropriate consequences because of their actions.
